Reservation Agent

Hôtel Travelodge Montréal

Work place: 50 Boul René-Lévesque Ouest, Montréal, Québec H2Z 1A2

Status: Part-time / Availability required on weekdays and weekends

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for updating key information related to reservation management. You will handle individual bookings and ensure outstanding customer service. You will also be responsible for individual sales across various markets.

 Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage reservations via email and/or phone
  • Monitor room availability in real-time using a reservation system and adjust rates accordingly
  • Optimize hotel occupancy by generating statistics through the reservation software
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Respond effectively to internal calls from guests and staff, providing accurate information and redirecting calls to appropriate departments
  • Provide accurate details about hotel services, amenities, and room types, and promote them to increase sales
  • Adhere to established standards, procedures, and protocols
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively in various work situations
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills for promoting products and services
  • Manage both individual and group reservations
  • Process transactions efficiently
  • Assist front desk staff with guest arrivals and departures as needed
  • Support and implement effective room sales strategies

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with Opera / Opera Cloud software
  • Knowledge of local attractions and general city information
  • Strong customer service orientation

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year

Education: College diploma (DEC) required

Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is required for this position, as we serve an international client.
