Are you an experienced, motivated professional with a passion for property management and resident satisfaction? We’re seeking a skilled Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations at our thriving apartment community in Phoenix, AZ. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities, but Not Limited to:

• Support the Community Manager in all operational and financial aspects of the property
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping duties, including rent collection, invoice processing, bank deposits, and reconciliations
• Utilize RealPage to manage resident data, track financials, and process transactions
• Monitor delinquencies, communicate with residents about outstanding balances, and initiate appropriate follow-up or legal action
• Process move-ins and move-outs, prepare lease paperwork, and calculate security deposit dispositions
• Enforce lease terms and ensure compliance with policies, including handling evictions and legal notices
• Coordinate closely with maintenance staff to ensure timely unit turns and property upkeep
• Promote a positive resident experience by responding promptly to concerns, complaints, and service requests
• Step in as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, including delegating daily work and overseeing office operations
• Assist with leasing efforts, renewals, and marketing initiatives to drive occupancy
• Represent the community during owner/client visits and assist with performance reporting

Requirements:

• 1 year of property management or leasing experience preferred
• Solid bookkeeping, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English is required for this position
