Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Representative will play a key role in developing the hotel’s client base, building strong relationships with partners, and contributing to upcoming strategic initiatives.
This is a 100% on-site position.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing, managing, and growing sales within an assigned market segment. The role includes prospecting, negotiating, and managing contracts to maximize room occupancy, meeting space usage, and restaurant revenue, all while contributing to the department’s overall goals.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Identify new local, national, or international business opportunities within the assigned market segment.

Conduct targeted prospecting activities: cold calls, client visits, trade shows, and sales missions.

Prepare tailored sales proposals, follow up with leads, and close deals.

Collaborate closely with the front desk, restaurant, and banquet teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Keep the CRM system up to date and generate regular performance reports.

Actively participate in sales meetings, marketing campaigns, and performance reviews.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities; make strategic recommendations.

Work in synergy with the broader sales team to optimize overall performance.

Perform any other related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Proficient in computer systems and CRM tools.

Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written, due to international clientele.

Availability for occasional travel (client visits, trade shows).
Education: College Diploma (D.E.C.) in Tourism or Hospitality — An asset.

Required Years of Experience:
- 1 to 2 years or more in sales and/or event coordination and/or in a tourism business.
