Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the banquet team to ensure efficient set-up and tear-down of events.
- Prepare and organize banquet rooms according to the specific needs of each event, following the guidelines of the department manager.
- Handle tables, chairs, decorations and audiovisual equipment, ensuring that everything is ready before guests arrive.
- Assist service staff in setting up meeting and coffee-break areas, while also being responsible for serving coffee breaks and box lunches.
- Provide support for material needs during events.
- Respond to special customer requests, such as table rearrangements, adding or removing materials, and more.
- Participate in dismantling after events, putting away tables, chairs and equipment in an organized manner.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the banquet hall, including putting away cutlery, dishes and tablecloths.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
- Respect work schedules and company policies on appearance and uniform.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hotel industry is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow department manager's instructions.
- Good physical condition, as the position may require lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with stressful or unexpected situations during events.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
