Reporting to the Sales Director, the Group Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all group-related activities within the facility. You will be the main point of contact for group customers and will work closely with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle group inquiries and bookings with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized offers to meet the specific needs of group customers.
  • Coordinate the logistical and operational planning of group events, ensuring that all details are taken into account.
  • Ensure smooth communication between group customers and the relevant internal teams (sales, marketing, logistics, etc.).
  • Provide support and guidance to customers throughout the process, from booking to arrival.
  • Identify process and service improvement opportunities to optimize the customer experience.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in event management or group services an asset.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of trends and best practices in group services.
  • Proficiency in computer and project management tools.
  • College diploma in a related field (event management, hospitality, tourism, etc.), or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role, with coordination and management responsibilities.

 

Languages: Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is required for this position, as we serve an international clientele.
