We're looking for a dynamic person of integrity to fill the position of cook for our magnificent 136-room mountain-top resort. For more than 80 years, Hôtel Mont Gabriel has been offering warm, professional customer service and excellent local cuisine.
Main responsibilities:
- Pay particular attention to allergies and set up according to menus.
- Remove required foods from refrigerators, freezers and warehouses and ensure freshness.
- immediate superior.
- Cook meat and fish for main courses.
- Prepare fruits and vegetables for serving and prepare starches according to menus.
- Assemble garnishes and plate decorations according to orders, make a beautiful presentation and temperatures, all according to established standards.
- Put food back in the refrigerator, pack and date it.
- Clean and disinfect work surfaces and equipment using appropriate products.
Job Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience, preferably as chef de partie or in a similar position.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of basic techniques.
- Ability to work in a team and supervise kitchen staff.
- Thorough knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure effective coordination with other team members and customers.
