The position: First cook - Your culinary touch at the top!

 


Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be the right-hand man of our kitchen team, helping to create delicious and memorable dishes. You'll be at the heart of the action, working closely with the chef to maintain the quality and consistency for which our establishment is renowned.

 

Your tasks

  • Prepare, cook and serve dishes worthy of the name, following the chef's recipes and standards.
  • Organize your station with fluidity, and communicate effectively to make each dish shine.
  • Ensure that every plate tells an unforgettable culinary story.
  • Help train and inspire clerks and apprentices to grow the team.
  • Apply the highest standards of hygiene and safety, ensuring a healthy and efficient environment.
  • Help manage inventory and reduce waste - every ingredient counts!

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in cooking or equivalent experience that demonstrates your passion for the culinary arts.
  • A first experience in the kitchen (ideally as a chef de partie) or a desire to gain experience in a quality setting.
  • Solid culinary skills, with a desire to perfect your techniques.
  • Team spirit, able to guide and motivate others.
  • Good stress management and the ability to excel in fast-paced situations.
  • Attention to detail to ensure perfect dishes every time.
