Salary:  50 000$ plus bonus

 

The famous Mont Gabriel Hotel, now part of the Tribute Portfolio brand, which is one of Marriott Bonvoy's 31 hotel brands, is one of the first resorts in the Laurentians that embodies the art of living. Over the years, it has transformed its facilities into an iconic space where staying is a pleasure. It is also the only hotel in the Laurentians located atop a mountain. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager is responsible for all revenue generated within the assigned market segment. The successful candidate must achieve or exceed a set of specific financial objectives by increasing the contribution from existing accounts, developing new business sources, and expanding the scope within segments to align with the hotel's overall financial goals. The Account Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive strategic business plan aimed at dynamically increasing market share.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit, develop, and expand key accounts and clients to generate additional opportunities for the hotel.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships and key partnerships to increase rates, volume, and revenue for the company.
  • Identify the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Conduct research on markets and potential clients to continuously and favorably increase the hotel's client list based on the specific market.
  • Develop and expand the corporate, Canadian, and international group segment.
  • Establish strong business relationships with key industry contacts and trade organizations.
  • Develop, maintain, and help grow business relationships to increase prices, volume, and revenue.
  • Strategically structure prices for each category segment.
  • Promote and sell the company's products and services within an assigned territory by soliciting current or new clients.
  • Evaluate and establish prices, credit terms, guarantees, and delivery dates.
  • Participate in regional industry activities.
  • Develop sales strategies.
  • Prepare or have sales contracts prepared.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current as well as new clients.
  • Any other related tasks to ensure the quality of the department's service.

Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent knowledge of the tourism and hotel industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the business travel, wholesalers, and tour environment.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hospitality experience, including 1 year of sales experience.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed, CITY et Marsha software.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and business writing skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

 

Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
