Breakfast Attendant

Status: Part-time with possibility of full-time (summer position)

Salary: 17.51$ per hour

Reporting to the Director of operation, the breakfast attendant is responsible for providing quality service to our customers in our breakfast area of the hotel. You will be the main interface between customers and the kitchen, ensuring they have a pleasant and satisfying experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and provide recommendations when asked.
  • Serve food beverages efficiently and elegantly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area.
  • Handle payments and transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with the menu, specials, and modifications to dishes.
  • Adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and customer orientation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends.
  • Previous experience as a server is an asset.
  • Training in customer service or hospitality is valued.
  • SmartServe certification, mandatory.
  • Food Handlers certification is an asset.
  • Adherence to hygiene and food safety rules.

 

Languages: English is mandatory
