Reporting to the Reception Supervisors, the receptionist takes room reservations, welcomes guests upon their arrival and during their stay, provides information about the establishment and its services as well as tourist attractions, and handles customer payments.

Job Description:

  • Registering guests' arrival, completing administrative formalities required by the hotel.
  • Informing guests about the hotel's services and handing over the keys to their room.
  • Providing information, if necessary, about cultural, gastronomic, etc., activities offered by the city or region.
  • Preparing invoices and collecting payment from guests upon departure.
  • Managing advance reservations received via email, fax, or telephone.
  • Real-time management of room availability on reservation software.
  • Optimizing hotel occupancy rates by establishing statistics on its software.
  • Responding efficiently to all external and internal calls from guests and the team and providing accurate responses.
  • Providing correct information about services, amenities, and different types of rooms and promoting them to optimize sales.
  • Adhering to established standards, norms, and procedures.
  • Communicating and interacting effectively in various work situations.
  • Selling hotel products and services.
