Status: Full-Time 

Salary: Starting at 74 000$ per year

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Operations plays an essential role in the management and growth of our hotel establishment. They will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, with a strong emphasis on sales and revenue development activities. They will lead a team of hospitality professionals, work closely with department heads, and contribute to achieving our financial goals and continuous improvement of the guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all daily hotel operations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service and maximum efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate teams from various departments, including reception, housekeeping, sales, accounting, and other related services.
  • Develop operational budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize hotel profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in the hotel establishment.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate advantageous contracts.
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience by resolving issues and addressing customer needs.
  • Manage the sales department operations in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to increase revenues.
  • Work with the general management to achieve strategic objectives for the hotel.
  • Manage operations in real time, ensuring that service standards are consistently upheld.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in hotel management, business management, or a related field.
  • Significant professional experience in the hospitality industry, including management roles.
  • Knowledge of SMERF, Group, and individual markets.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer tools and hotel management software.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.
